Wearing a well-fitting mask consistently and correctly protects you and others from COVID-19. A new CDC report looked at changes in spread of COVID-19 in counties where states required masks and in counties where states allowed on-site dining in restaurants. The report found that cases and deaths slowed in counties with state-issued mask requirements and sped up in counties where states allowed restaurants to have any on-site dining.
