Eight new COVID-19 cases were detected in 1,041 tests overnight, Charmaine Gauci, the superintendent of public health, said on Sunday,

Malta now has 378 positive cases but 44 have recovered.

Two of the new cases involve migrants at Hal Far ‘tent village’ which is under lock-down. The cases were detected during random tests as the patients showed no symptoms.
