Today the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases identified in South Africa is 1 699 849 with 3 285 new cases reported.
The cumulative total of tests conducted to date is 11 899 793 with 23 199 new tests recorded since the last report.
Deaths and Recoveries
Today, In the last 24 hours, 89 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 1, Free State 23, Gauteng 25, Kwa-Zulu Natal 1, Limpopo 17, Mpumalanga 0, North West 0, Northern Cape 4 and Western
Cape 18 which brings the total to 57 063 deaths.
We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.
Our recoveries now stand at 1 581 540, representing a recovery rate of 93,0%
