SITUATION OF THE COVID-19 INFECTION
IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

1. The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Saturday, 15 Zulkaedah 1442 / 26 June 2021, as of 12 noon.

2. Case 258 is a 38 years old man who arrived in the country from Indonesia via Singapore on 13 June 2021 and had sore throat for 5 days, cough and lost sense of taste since 20 June 2021. Meanwhile, Case 259 is a 39 years old woman. She arrived in the country from Indonesia on 13 June 2021 and does not have any symptoms.
3. Investigation and contact tracing have found that there is no close contact as they were quarantined upon arrival and their entire travel arrangements adhered to the existing standard operating procedure (SOP).
4. All the cases treated in the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
