SITUATION OF THE COVID-19 INFECTION

IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

1.    The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Tuesday, 21 Ramadhan 1442 / 04 May 2021, as of 12.00 noon.

2.    Case 228 is a man aged 52 years old that arrived in the country from Manila on 21 April 2021. This case does not have any signs of infection. Investigation and contact tracing have confirmed there is no close contact for this case as he was quarantined upon arrival in the country and his entire travel arrangements upon arrival and self-isolation have been in accordance with existing standard operating procedure (SOP).

 

3.    All the cases treated at the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
