1. The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Friday, 05 Zulhijjah 1442 / 16 July 2021, as of 12.00 noon.

2. Case 283 is a 38-year-old man that arrived in the country from Jakarta, Indonesia via Singapore on 9 July 2021. He had a cough, flu and sore throat on the fourth day after his arrival in the country during his quarantine. Investigation and contact tracing confirmed that there are 8 close contacts for this case, who travelled with him from Indonesia.
3. All the cases treated at the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
