If you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are exposed to someone with COVID-19, you don’t have to quarantine or get tested if you haven’t had any symptoms since exposure.

People are considered fully vaccinated:
• 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna vaccines)
• 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine)

You should still take steps to protect yourself and others in many situations, like wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet apart from others, and avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
