Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 6,430 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,051,642.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 134 patients since Tuesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 128,406.
So far, 5,720,893 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,477 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 37,254,424 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
55,998,288 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 43,024,902 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 604,995 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
