Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 1,307 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 7,218,424.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 28 patients since Tuesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 141,024.
So far, 6,972,286 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 997 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 50,914,586 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
64,291,183 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 57,491,956 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 26,951,675 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
