Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 1,345 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 7,145,877.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 63 patients since Thursday noon, raising the overall death toll to 139,865.
So far, 6,842,103 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 1,753 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 48,991,010 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
63,777,112 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 56,601,281 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 25,578,0675 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
