Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 7,554 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 5,987,814.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 126 patients since Sunday noon, raising the overall death toll to 127,299.
So far, 5,601,764 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,687 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 36,278,187 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
55,128,528 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 38,893,839 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 178,906 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine
