Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 3,653 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,227,849.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 18 patients since Tuesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 132,113.
So far, 6,068,983 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 1,295 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 43,589,571 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
60,376,526 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 53,258,700 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 13,144,426 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
