Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 1,932 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,208,337.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 37 patients since Monday noon, raising the overall death toll to 131,915.
So far, 6,053,241 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 1,692 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 42,908,102 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
60,146,546 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 52,725,535 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 10,675,339 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
