Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 1,857 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,184,762.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 52 patients since Sunday noon, raising the overall death toll to 131,400.
So far, 6,026,378 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 2,774 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 41,491,521 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
59,529,947 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 51,255,555 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 5,922,213 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
