Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 10,363 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 5,954,962.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 147 patients since Wednesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 126,763.
So far, 5,547,349 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,789 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 35,834,817 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
53,310,456 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 36,655,543 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 102,866 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine
