Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 1,932 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,179,817.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 51 patients since Thursday noon, raising the overall death toll to 131,262.
So far, 6,019,343 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 2,807 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 41,183,363 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
59,385,982 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 50,897,915 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 4,965,334 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
