Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 3,309 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,144,644.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 90 patients since Wednesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 130,446.
So far, 5,943,467 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,185 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 39,632,983 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
58,412,319 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 48,767,237people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 1,811,379 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
