Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 3,356 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,137,821.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 77 patients since Sunday noon, raising the overall death toll to 130,277.
So far, 5,930,502 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,232 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 39,415,479 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
58,193,586 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 48,349,504 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 1,397,543 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
