Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 3,603 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,129,199.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 78 patients since Friday noon, raising the overall death toll to 130,066.
So far, 5,908,901 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,296 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 39,093,355 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
57,927,468 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 47,761,670 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 1,178,457 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
