As of 4PM today, July 22, 202…0, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 72,269.
A total of 1,594 confirmed cases are reported based on the total tests done by 78 out of 89 current operational labs.
DOH likewise announces 342 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 23,623.
Note:
Of the 6 deaths, 5 (83%) in July and 1 (17%) in June. Deaths were from NCR (2 or 33%), Region 6 (2 or 33%), Region 7 (1 or 17%), and BARMM (1 or 17%).
Eighty-nine (89) duplicates were removed from total case count. These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation. See More
