In order to facilitate th…e movement of people stranded in Thimphu due to health and death related emergencies, Ministry of Health is installing two more COVID-19 Sampling stations. One will be set up at Changlingmethang and the other at YHSS parking. The stations will operate during the following times, and the sampling capacity and results turn around time (TAT) are as follows:
1. Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
2. Sampling Capacity – 40-50 people per hour by each station
3. TAT for RT-PCR results : 24-48 hours
Of the two new COVID-19 sampling
stations, the Changlimithang station will start operating this afternoon and the YHSS Parking station will start operating from tomorrow (05.01.2020).
1010 will contact registered stranded travelers to facilitate testing and other processes.
