A total of 254 sampl…es were processed today, 73 of these were positive for a positivity rate of 28.7%.

Orange Walk – 17 (8 Town, 2 Trial Farm, 2 San Jose, 1 Carmelita, 1 San Jose Palmar, 1 San Pablo, 2 from Progresso, Czl)
Belize – 11 (7 City, 1 Hattieville, 1 Burrel Boom, 1 from Laguna, TOL 1 from Concepcion, Czl)
Cayo – 32 (11 San Ignacio, 9 Belmopan, 3 San Antonio, 2 Roaring Creek, 2 Camalote, 1 San Jose Succtoz, 1 Benque Viejo del Carmen, 1 Cotton Tree, 1 Bullet Tree Falls, 1 Teakettle)
Toledo – 12 (7 Punta Gorda, 1 San Marcos, 1 San Jose, 1 San Miguel, 1 San Antonio, 1 Forest Home)
There are 4 deaths to report today: two persons died at KHMH, a female from the Cayo District and a male in his 60s from Corozal; a female in her 70’s from Xaibe who died at the Corozal Community Hospital and a male in his 60s at the Western Regional Hospital.
There are 42 recoveries tonight and a total of 42.9% of our cases are currently active.
