
Six new positive cases of COVID-19, two males and four females, were identified on Tuesday, June 1, from among the 414 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Thirty-nine people are currently in isolation.
There have been 4,023 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,946 females and 2,077 males) since the start of the pandemic in March, last year. Â The number of deaths from the virus is 47.
Since February 2020, the public health laboratory has carried out 171,254 tests. The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 79,503 people vaccinated against the virus, with 60,816 of them having received both doses of the vaccine.
