The death toll from coronavirus in Bangladesh has surged past 800 to reach 811 with the deaths of 30 more Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours till Friday.
Of the new deceased, 23 are men while seven are women.
Besides, 2,828 more coronavirus cases were reported during the period, taking the confirmed cases in the country to 60,391.

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), came up with the disclosure in the daily online health bulletin in the afternoon
She said 643 more patients recovered from COVID-19 disease in the last 24 hours, taking the number of people making recovery to 12,804.
Prof Nasima said highest 14,088 samples were tested in 50 labs across the country during the period. With this, a total of 372,365 samples have so far been tested in the country.
In comparison with the tests conducted in the last 24 hours, the infection rate is 20.07 percent, she said.
The DGHS additional director general also said against the total number of detected cases, the recovery rate is 21.20 percent while the mortality rate is 1.34 percent in the country.
On Thursday, Bangladesh recorded 35 deaths from coronavirus and 2,423 cases.
Meanwhile, coronavirus cases continue to surge around the world as over 1.29 lakh infections were recorded in the past 24 hours till 10am on Friday.
In total, confirmed coronavirus cases have reached 6,702,662 globally, including 129,122 during the period, according to Worldometer.
Besides, the global death toll from coronavirus has reached 393,210.
Of the currently infected 3,057,908 patients, 3,002,452 are in mild condition while 55,456 are in serious or critical condition.
So far, 3,251,544 people have made recovery from the disease in different countries.
