A new CDC study finds that in 2020, rates of COVID-19 for people younger than 25 were substantially higher among most racial and ethnic minority groups than White people, but those disparities lessened during the year. The decline in disparities was largely due to a greater increase in rates of COVID-19 among White people, rather than a decrease among racial and ethnic minority groups. Ensuring equitable and timely access to preventive measures is important to address racial/ethnic disparities. Learn more: http://bit.ly/MMWR31021.
