A new CDC report finds that fewer than half of people living in jails or prisons within four states were willing to be vaccinated for COVID-19 when interviewed in the last few months of 2020. Participants who were younger, identified as Black/African American, and in jails reported lower willingness to get the COVID-19 vaccine. People who are incarcerated or detained are at increased risk for COVID-19, so interventions are needed to help them feel more confident about getting vaccinated. Learn more: http://bit.ly/7013a3.
