A new CDC report finds a New Jersey school with students living both on and off campus reduced the spread of COVID-19 on campus using multiple strategies that included: frequent testing, universal mask wearing, a requirement that people keep 6 feet apart, improved ventilation, and contact tracing. Of nearly 1,200 people, 19 faculty and staff and eight students tested positive for COVID-19 during the fall semester, with two cases likely due to on-campus spread. Prevention measures can reduce COVID-19 outbreaks in school settings even when there is ongoing spread in the surrounding community. Learn more: http://bit.ly/7011a2.
