Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 234 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 7,232,268.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 3 patients since Wednesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 141,318.
So far, 7,051,024 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 511 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 52,269,202 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
64,545,209 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 57,860,379 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 27,552,163 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
