Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 28,995 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,373,174.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 30 patients since Monday noon, raising the overall death toll to 132,454.
So far, 6,106,442 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 1,584 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 44,789,344471 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
60,770,435 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 54,116,027 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 17,315,831 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
