Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 4,384 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,102,056.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 86 patients since Thursday noon, raising the overall death toll to 129,462.
So far, 5,841,870 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,373 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 38,331,546 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
57,248,013 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 45,115,125 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 921,440 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
