Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 7,494 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,045,212.
Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 105 patients since Monday noon, raising the overall death toll to 128,272.
So far, 5,708,253 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.
It said 3,491 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.
It noted that 37,146,083 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
55,860,065 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 42,619,788 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Some 562,756 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
