5.             As previously mentioned, individuals who have received the COVID-19 vaccination can still possibly be infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus but normally, the infection will only cause mild symptoms. The COVID-19 vaccination is still the most effective measure to stop the spread of the infection compared to wearing face masks at all times, physical distancing and maintaining personal hygiene especially frequent hand washing. In addition, usually the second dose injection in completing the COVID-19 vaccination will only be fully effective after 14 days.

6.             The Ministry of Health is presently upscaling the capacity for the National Vaccination Programme to allow more citizen and residents in the country to receive the vaccine as soon as possible.

7.             Let us all practice zikir, prayers and other practices to seek for Allah Subhanahu Wa Taa’ala’s forgiveness, guidance, taufik and hidayah so that Brunei Darussalam remains protected from the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
