1. The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public on the current situation of the COVID-19 infection in Brunei Darussalam for Monday, 01 Zulhijjah 1442 / 12 July 2021, as of 12.00 noon.

2. Case 276 is an Indonesian man aged 43 years old. He had fever for 5 days and malaise for one day. Case 277 is an Indonesian woman aged 34 years old. She had abdominal pain, fever and cough for 3 days. Both cases arrived in the country from Jakarta, Indonesia on 04 July 2021.
3. The investigation and contact tracing have confirmed that there are no close contacts for these new cases since they were quarantined upon arrival into the country and all their travel arrangements upon arrival and self-isolation follows the existing standard operating procedure (SOP).
4. All the cases treated at the National Isolation Centre are in a stable condition.
