May is ALS Awareness Month. The National ALS Registry is collecting information from persons with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, to help doctors and scientists learn more about who has this disease.
Researchers will be able to use this information to explore risk factors and this research could help lead to a cure for ALS. Learn more about ALS and the National ALS Registry at www.cdc.gov/als.
