A CDC-supported study in Mississippi found the actual number of children infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 might have been much higher than the number of cases reported. The study also found that infection rates among Hispanic children were 4.3 times higher than among White children; and infection rates among Black children were 2.4 times higher than rates among White children.
