A new CDC MMWR report finds the percentage of Americans who plan to get vaccinated against COVID-19 went up from September to December 2020. Despite that increase, only half of adults intended to be vaccinated, and even fewer in some groups at increased risk of COVID-19 plan to. Millions of people have received vaccines in the US.; COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Getting more people from all groups vaccinated is important to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and bring an end to the pandemic.
