Minister of Health Takes the Shot!
Today, October 1st 2020, the Hon…ourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health rolled up his sleeve and looked on as Dr. Adesh Sirjusingh, Director of Women’s Health, carefully sanitised his hands and administered the flu vaccine to him.
“We really need the population to take the flu shot. If too many persons need hospital care because of the flu, this can overwhelm the health system and the health care workers who are already dealing with COVID-19,” commented the Minister.
