Thailand’s government said on Friday that it discovered five new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, all in state quarantine.
This is the 25th straight day without cases outside of state quarantine.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections at 3,146 nationwide.
The five new cases are 23-26-year-old male students who had travelled back from Saudi Arabia on June 12. They were tested positive on June 16.
Eleven more patients have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of discharged patients to 3,008.
The rate of recovery in Thailand is at 95.61 per cent.
There are 80 people remain in hospital with the virus.
The death toll remains at 58.
